Plein Air - End of Season Plein Air Show and Celebration
Come to celebrate a successful plein air season at East Goshen Park!
Saturday, October 12, 2:00 – 6:00 pm
Rain date Sunday October 13
Setup for artists begins at 1:00 pm

Plein Air – Newlin Grist Mill
This park, just off route 1, is on the site of an 18th century grist mill. On one side of the road are the old buildings from the 1700s. On the other side with the parking lot there are woods, and a system of old canals that carried the water to the mill and are now being expanded to include a wetlands area.

Plein Air – Sugartown Strawberries Produce Market
This outdoor produce market has a wonderful assortment of fall flowers and veggies. Plus it will be almost pumpkin season. In addition to the display carts, there are fields behind that make good painting subjects. Since this is a Saturday Plein Air, the market will be busy. Come a bit early and park farther away in the parking lot, leaving room for customers. And maybe carpool if possible. Again, please let us know if you’re coming. Pat (rileypat@gmail.com)

Plein Air at The Willows Park
The Willows is a beautiful park on Darby Paoli Road, Villanova. There is a pond, a little bridge to an island, and sometimes people fishing.
It is very helpful for us to have a sense of who is coming, so please let Kathy (fourbeank@aol.com) or Pat (rileypat@gmail.com) know.
Hope to see you there!

Plein Air - End of Season Plein Air Show and Celebration
As in years past, this is an opportunity to showcase the work we’ve done or started en plein air. Nothing need be framed and pieces started en plein air can be finished in the studio. BUT please, do not bring work that has nothing to do with our plein air season.
What’s special this year is that we will be joining with the East Goshen Arts in the Park celebration. There will be live music, food trucks, and lots of people! And hopefully some sales of our artwork!
If you are bringing paintings to exhibit, please arrive by 1:45. Thanks.

Plein Air - End of Season Plein Air Show and Celebration
Again this year we will have a celebration and outdoor show to conclude our plein air season. Everyone who participated in any of the plein events is invited to show your work, and everyone else — all PPS members, friends and family — is invited to come and enjoy the show and festivities.

Plein Air – Sugartown Strawberries Produce Market
Sugartown Strawberries is a wonderful farm stand with lots of produce, fields of sunflowers, not-yet-ripe pumpkins, and a variety of habitats certified as a wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. There should be lots of interesting subjects for painting. The farm stand officially opens at 10; you can arrive a little earlier to start setting up.

Plein Air - End of Season Plein Air Show and Celebration
We’re planning an end-of-the-season, outdoor, socially-distanced, masked extravaganza to celebrate our exciting plein air year. All who participated in any of the plein airs are invited to share and show your work. It doesn’t need to be framed and can have been finished in your studio. We’re have secured an open-air pavilion where we’ll have the space to look at paintings while still maintaining social distance with (what else?) masks (how elegant, creative, original is your mask?). We’re also planning some people’s choice awards and musical entertainment. More details to follow, but save the date!
