Presenter: Val Rossman
Val Rossman has been working as a professional artist for over 30 years. She has received numerous awards for her work which has been shown in Philadelphia, Delaware, Vermont, New Jersey, Florida and New York. In addition, she had been on the faculty of Main Line Art Center from 1994-2016 as a teacher of abstract art and presently teaches at Wayne Art Center, Woodmere Art Museum and has lectured at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Her work has been collected by both individual and corporate clients in the U.S. and abroad. Her abstracts are known for their wonderful sense of color, a lyrical and often whimsical mentality. The combination of rich and unexpected hues and gestures with sometimes questioning formats give the work an unforgettable presence. Her goal is to create balance, beauty and harmony as an escape from the harshness of the world.
