Over the Marsh
Stan Sperlak is a regionally and nationally respected pastel painter known for his dramatic landscape paintings of the sea, marshes and sky. Stan studied painting and drawing at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia and with Pat Witt at the Barn Studio of Art in Millville, NJ. His works have appeared in numerous magazines and books on painting.
Stan is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of America, a Master Circle pastelist with the International Association of Pastel Societies, and also a Signature member of the Maryland Pastel Society. He is the past Director of the Mid Atlantic Plein AirPainters Association. Stan has taught workshops across the country and also created an 80+ works installation sculpture garden on his 37-acre property in Goshen, NJ
